I absolutely love the original version. I absolutely love Glee's version. It's not about who sings the song. The song is about peace and acceptance. It's about being able to live together, "to live as one". Although I cannot speak for John Lennon, I do believe he would be proud of this version. This clip shows how beautiful acceptance can be. That is the message of the song. That is why the song is beautiful. So, I cannot decide. Listen to the words of this amazing song, in whichever version.
